Born under Cancer sign, he is a purring sweetheart. The best thing ever is to jump into our lap and be patted. The translation of the purring symphony may be: "Pat me, pat me, pat me. Very long, please." His nice character comes along with a very strong body build, well rounded head, nice profile and excellent fur quality. What else could we wish for? Perhaps a little higher forehead, but we know that no cat is perfect and this little shortcoming is more than counterbalanced by all other good qualities.
Ancestors in Keitaro's pedigree possessed these qualities: strongly built body, straight profile and excellent coat quality. Their temper can be described as calm, friendly and sweet. Keitaro's temper is just sunshiny. He is a friendly tomcat, not only to us but also to his breed pack peers.
Keitaro's development shows that he belongs to tomcats that reach their full size and show their full qualities later in age (3 to 4 years of age). We do not mind waiting, knowing that this group of tomcats ultimately grows to a bigger size with stronger body build than those tomcats that appear fully adult at the age of 1-2 years.
